'Beauty Barbie' was created as a statement on the beauty standards placed on women. The background was taken from a 1950's artist paper, the vintage Barbie is a hand-etching. This drawing was adorned with hand-cut collage cut from original 1950's magazines. No computer or photoshop was involved in the making of this piece.
